Sovir’s story begins with his grandmother, Hurk. As a young girl she was was left behind when the tribe moved due to a broken leg, assumed dead.

Fifteen years later, Hurk returned a changed woman. Even her natural markings were different, which she said was a result of altering her fate. Bearing a wealth in weapons and tales of the outside world, she was hesitantly accepted back.

But Hurk had strong wanderlust, her longest stay was only to give birth to a daughter. She would often leave for long periods of time, killing ferocious beasts to prove her worth and protecting the tribe from the raging war.

Her daughter died bringing Sovir into the world. Hurk took an unusual interest in her grandson’s upbringing, often taking him away from the tent mother for her own harsh training. As a result Sovir never fit in well with the tribe, and he never learned how to get along well with others. He spent much of his youth getting into trouble and seeking new challenges.

Not long ago, Hurk felt her age was starting to slow her down. She left the tribe and was last seen looking for an elder dragon for her final battle.

Sovir wants to prove himself just as mighty as Hurk, so he left the tribe in search of adventure, much to their silent relief. He wandered for a time, fighting worthy opponents as he went, eventually ending up in Sharn with Kranewing, Poole, & Smithfire.
